The CNC Lathe Programmer Lead is an onsite, full-time position in Tucson, AZ. Compensation is $75,000–$95,000 per year. The role supports precision aerospace manufacturing for ITDE, developing and optimizing programs for precision-machined components. The lead guides lathe programming and works with machinists, setup technicians, and manufacturing personnel to improve efficiency, quality, and repeatability. The role also supports production launches, trains and mentors programmers, and advances process improvements and manufacturing technology.

What you'll do

• Develop complex CNC lathe programs using CAM software
• analyze engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and design data
• convert Mazatrol programs to EIA as needed
• create probing routines, setup sheets, tooling documentation, and machining instructions
• lead and support the lathe programming team
• maintain programming best practices
• review programs and setups for cycle-time and process improvements
• support machine setup, prove-outs, first article inspections, and production launches.
