Process Engineering Technician

The role exists to operate equipment to develop and test plastic containers and related tooling. It contributes to the team by ensuring equipment efficiency, monitoring production processes, and troubleshooting to maintain high quality standards.

What you'll do

• Perform and monitor necessary setting adjustments such as machine programming, heat controls, cooling water temperatures, pressures and functioning of extruder and hydraulic pumping units.
• Perform quality control checks and help maintain customer requirements.
• Perform mold changes and set ups.
• Coordinate mold set-up activities with production schedules.
• Troubleshoot mold problems and mold process issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities.
