The assistant provides legal and administrative support by preparing and organizing documents, managing files and deadlines, coordinating hearings and correspondence, and completing court filings. The work helps attorneys manage bankruptcy matters and meet procedural and client-service requirements.

What you'll do

• Format and proofread legal documents
• create and maintain files
• organize large volumes of documents
• schedule meetings and court hearings
• handle correspondence
• prepare memoranda and engagement letters
• file documents through PACER
• coordinate mailings and service of process
• monitor deadlines
• prepare bills and expense reports.
