Indoor Swim Team Head Group Coach

Job overview

The Indoor Swim Team Head Group Coach works onsite at the Rec-Plex natatorium and the City of St. Peters’ outdoor aquatic facilities in City of Saint Peters, MO. Compensation is $24 per hour. The position supports the City’s swim team and community recreation program. Working under the Head Swim Coach, this coach leads assigned practice groups, develops skill-appropriate workouts, and helps coordinate practices and swim-related activities. The role contributes to swimmer development and a safe, organized, positive aquatics environment.

What you'll do

• Lead and supervise assigned swim team practice groups
• develop and implement workouts and training plans
• assist with practices, instructional programs, and related activities
• support assistant coach and instructor development
• promote swimmer growth and sportsmanship
• assist with meet preparation and team events
• communicate with swimmers, parents, and staff
• maintain safe aquatic program areas
• attend meetings and assist with administrative and coaching duties.
