Construction Intern — Raleigh Summer 2027

The Construction Intern role is onsite in Raleigh, NC, with pay of $22–$24 per hour. F.H. Paschen’s internship program gives students pursuing construction and related built-environment studies work experience and preparation for construction project management careers. Working with a project team, the intern contributes to project delivery through duties that may span pre-construction through closeout. The position provides practical exposure to project documentation, coordination, and field activities while supporting the team’s construction work.

What you'll do

• Responsibilities may include subcontractor solicitation, quantity takeoffs, project documentation, and field coordination and supervision. Prepare quantity takeoffs, material logs, project reports, and correspondence
• review shop drawings and submittals
• track change orders and Requests for Information
• collect, verify, and distribute as-builts
• read blueprints
• and support closeout documentation.
