The Lead Teacher — Early Childhood role is onsite in Edmond, OK. Pay is $15.87–$17.13 per hour. Children of America operates preschool and childcare programs serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years, including infant, toddler, preschool, pre-K, before- and after-care, and summer camp programs.

What you'll do

• Carry out daily lesson plans
• help create a safe, structured, positive learning environment
• communicate with parents, children, and team members
• document and deliver child progress reports using technology
• set age-appropriate expectations
• and lead classroom instruction using the Mind and Body Matters curriculum.

Why this role

The posting requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 14 college credits in Education, one year of licensed childcare experience, CPR and First Aid certification, and state licensing requirements. A CDA and Oklahoma Competency Certificate are preferred.
