The Precision CAM Programmer, CNC Lathe/Mill Operations role is onsite in Lowell, MA, with pay of $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience, plus a second-shift differential. The role supports Axis Technologies’ precision component and sub-assembly manufacturing. The programmer creates and validates machining programs for prototype and production work, helping ensure parts meet blueprint and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing requirements. The role also performs setup, operation, and inspection to support accurate, reliable production.

What you'll do

• Create, refine, and debug Mastercam programs for turning and milling
• set up and operate CNC machines to validate and run programs
• perform in-process and final inspections using CMMs, micrometers, and bore gauges
• apply GD&T to meet blueprint requirements
• maintain tooling
• assist with fabrication as needed
• follow safety and quality procedures.
