What you'll do

• Review bid documents, drawings, and specifications
• prepare takeoffs, cost estimates, and proposals
• coordinate scope strategy, risk assessment, and pricing with the Chief Estimator
• support buyouts, negotiations, job status reviews, and change orders
• estimate public and private work
• develop proposals with assumptions, allowances, savings opportunities, and alternates
• obtain vendor pricing
• track bid outcomes
• maintain estimating data and logs
• and attend pre-bid meetings, walkthroughs, and site visits.
