The Senior Business Analyst role is onsite in Washington, DC. Pay is $140,000–$160,000 per year. The analyst serves as a technical bridge between operational investigators, legal counsel, government stakeholders, and software teams. The role translates mission needs into system requirements and supports modernization, risk assessment, governance, and delivery of national security technology capabilities.
What you'll do
- Lead business analysis and requirements engineering for national security systems
- evaluate enterprise systems and software development efforts
- advise leadership on vulnerabilities and mitigation
- gather and prioritize stakeholder requirements
- analyze system architectures and integration risks
- translate needs into Agile epics, features, and user stories
- author technical and business documentation
- oversee project planning and schedules
- support strategic planning and process re-engineering
- prepare executive briefings and Power BI dashboards
- provide technical guidance and troubleshooting
- represent the branch at interagency meetings and track follow-up actions.
