The analyst evaluates US Navy and Marine Corps strike-fighter training and proficiency by observing training events, collecting performance data, and analyzing factors that affect mission outcomes. The work supports recommendations on systems, readiness policy, training, resourcing, and tactics, techniques, and procedures, as well as predictive reporting and evaluation of data-analysis software.

What you'll do

• Observe significant air wing events and collect available man, train, and equip data
• analyze potential root causes affecting mission outcomes
• conduct gap analysis and support recommendations on system design and acquisition, readiness policy, training syllabi and systems, unit resourcing, and tactics, techniques, and procedures
• provide predictive and prescriptive reporting using AI/ML tools and data analytics
• test and evaluate software that semi-automates data collection and analysis.

Why this role

Requires recent, relevant USN/USMC Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor experience in FA-18 and/or F-35, Top Secret/SCI eligibility with current SSBI, and ability to obtain SAP clearance within six months. Intermittent travel is required.
