What you'll do

• Work with project managers on projections, job setup, estimates, change orders, and contract billing
• monitor work in progress and backlog
• manage the accounting department and provide backup across accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and service billing
• reconcile bank accounts monthly and prepare weekly cash-flow projections
• monitor collections
• post daily cash receipts
• select accounts payable checks and approve invoices
• process specified invoices and payments, including credit card, insurance, vehicle fleet, and rent payments
• conduct annual general ledger and workers’ compensation insurance reviews.
