What you'll do

• Deliver critical care nursing services
• assess patients and monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs
• respond to changes and emergencies
• administer IV medications, vasopressors, sedation, blood products, and other therapies under orders and protocols
• operate specialized equipment
• collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care plans
• document care electronically
• follow infection-control and safety standards
• support patients and families
• maintain required continuing-education and compliance documentation.
