Reporting to the Equipment Manager, the manager leads the Rhode Island mechanics and coordinates shop maintenance and repairs. The role keeps equipment safe, reliable, and available for pipeline rehabilitation projects while controlling costs and supporting team development.

What you'll do

• Lead mechanics by assigning daily tasks and setting expectations
• plan and coordinate maintenance and repairs
• work with field teams to anticipate equipment needs and prioritize repairs
• troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
• coordinate vendors and outside repair shops
• review repair estimates and maintenance costs
• maintain maintenance records, work orders, invoices, purchasing records, and equipment documentation
• keep the shop and yard organized and safe
• communicate equipment availability, staffing, and priorities to the Equipment Manager
• identify operational improvements
• support equipment transfers, rentals, disposals, and replacements.

Why this role

High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in equipment maintenance, fleet operations, shop supervision, or a related field and prior team leadership are sought. ASE certification, CDL, and specialized pipeline rehabilitation equipment experience are listed as pluses, not requirements.
