Director of Clinical Engineering

The Director of Clinical Engineering role is onsite in Zanesville, OH. Compensation is $115,000–$140,000 per year. The position leads a healthcare technology management program at a client site and supports alignment of biomedical services with patient-care priorities. The role exists to ensure medical equipment performs reliably and meets quality and regulatory requirements while improving service efficiency. It leads technical staff, manages financial and vendor responsibilities, and oversees equipment planning and lifecycle management.

What you'll do

• Oversee the clinical engineering program and medical equipment performance
• lead, mentor, and develop supervisors and technical staff
• ensure preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibration meet standards
• drive process improvements
• maintain compliance with CIHQ, DNV, Joint Commission, and hospital policies
• collaborate with clinical leadership
• manage vendors, contracts, capital planning, budgets, and cost controls.
