Business Analyst Intern

The Business Analyst Intern is an onsite summer internship in State College, PA; interns must live in or relocate to State College. Compensation is $1,000 per week, and the internship may run for 10 or 12 weeks with flexible dates based on academic schedules. Boisei labs is a venture studio building technology companies focused on social impact, green technology, and other meaningful problems. The intern researches early-stage business ideas and turns evidence into recommendations that help the team decide what to test and build. The work includes market and customer research, opportunity assessment, business model comparisons, customer discovery support, and concise analyses and presentations for internal decisions.

What you'll do

• Research markets, industries, competitors, and emerging technologies
• identify target customers, use cases, problems, and value propositions
• support market sizing and opportunity assessments
• compare business models, pricing, and paths to market
• support customer discovery
• translate research into requirements and recommendations
• prepare briefs, presentations, and spreadsheet analyses
• track assumptions, risks, and next steps
• present findings.
