The Senior Software Engineer — Data Analytics (TS/SCI with Polygraph) role is onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD. Pay is $150,000–$200,000 per year. The engineer works with data scientists and end users to develop analytic tools addressing critical global challenges and operationalizing data science. The role delivers end-to-end software engineering for analytics in the customer’s corporate architecture, from prototyping and development through integration, testing, and deployment. It also creates custom analytics at scale using big-data tools and supports discovery and tradecraft.

What you'll do

• Work with data scientists and end users to develop analytic tools
• perform end-to-end software engineering to prototype, develop, integrate, test, and deploy tools and tradecraft
• create custom analytics that operate at scale
• use Jupyter Notebooks, Java MapReduce, and Python PySpark
• apply statistical analysis and machine learning fundamentals
• work with customer tools, architecture, data flow, and big data
• use Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and Agile methodologies.
