The Physician — Medical Director / Attending, Skilled Nursing Facility role is onsite in Staunton, VA. Compensation is $300,000–$500,000 per year. The physician provides medical care to skilled nursing facility residents and works with nurse practitioners, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to support resident outcomes and well-being. The role assesses, diagnoses, and manages residents’ health needs through treatment planning, ongoing monitoring, and follow-up. It also contributes clinical guidance, patient and staff education, and regulatory documentation in a long-term care setting.

What you'll do

• Perform comprehensive medical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• diagnose, manage, and treat acute and chronic conditions
• monitor residents and provide follow-up care
• collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• educate patients, families, and staff on disease management and preventive care
• meet regulatory and documentation requirements
• provide clinical guidance to nurse practitioners and other healthcare staff.
