Furniture Installer & Facilities Specialist

The Furniture Installer & Facilities Specialist role is onsite in Arlington, VA, and Washington, DC. Compensation is $27–$30 per hour. The position provides office relocation, furniture installation, and facilities support at a large military and federal facility in the National Capital Region. The role supports facility operations by moving and installing office furniture and completing specialized finishing work based on individual experience and assignments. It also helps protect facility surfaces and minimize disruption while serving building occupants and government personnel.

What you'll do

• Conduct office moves and furniture relocations and installations within the Pentagon and National Capital Region
• assemble, disassemble, and reconfigure furniture
• safely transport and protect furniture and materials
• perform specialized facilities work based on experience, including patching, painting, carpet work, wall systems, trim, sound-masking equipment, and hanging seals
• document transactions, inventory, and completed work
• support special-event setups and breakdowns.
