The cook prepares food to established recipes and production standards, maintains safe food storage and kitchen practices, and helps control waste and food costs so guests receive consistent meals.

• Prepare food according to recipes and portion standards

• check pars and set up the line
• store unused food properly
• help control food waste and costs
