What you'll do

• Assist with raw-material purchasing, requests for quotes, quote comparisons, spreadsheet analysis, requisitions, and reports. Research and evaluate suppliers
• schedule and release shipments
• monitor deliveries and follow up on delays
• address defective or unacceptable goods with vendors and staff
• maintain purchasing, cost, delivery, performance, and inventory records
• review sales and inventory data
• visit supplier facilities as needed.
