What you'll do

• Advise customers about routine maintenance
• identify mechanical concerns through customer questions, visual inspection, or road test
• review inspection results and recommend repairs
• prepare repair orders and cost estimates
• explain work and charges
• schedule appointments
• greet customers and obtain vehicle information
• check repair progress and obtain authorization for additional work
• review and close repair orders
• handle customer complaints and telephone inquiries
• maintain vehicle parking and key procedures.
