Economic and Community Development Advisor

The Economic and Community Development Advisor is based onsite in Boise, ID, with some remote work possible with approval and flexible schedules offered. Compensation is $116,334.40–$140,108.80 per year. The role is part of Idaho Power’s Operations team, supporting the company’s work to provide safe, reliable, and affordable energy to communities in Idaho and Oregon. The advisor builds relationships with local government and economic development stakeholders and manages large-load customer requests through in-service. The role coordinates internal teams on proposals, engineering assessments, cost quotes, construction studies, permitting, and public involvement to support customer growth and local development goals.

What you'll do

• Build relationships with city and county officials and economic development professionals
• manage the large-load request pipeline
• coordinate responses to information and proposal requests
• develop customer proposals, engineering assessments, cost quotes, and construction studies or agreements
• prepare analyses and presentations
• support facility permitting and public involvement
• identify opportunities to anticipate customer needs.
