What you'll do
- Evaluate and manage gastrointestinal, hepatic, biliary, and pancreatic disorders
- diagnose and treat digestive conditions
- perform and interpret upper endoscopy and colonoscopy consistent with training and privileges
- provide inpatient consultations and outpatient clinic care as needed
- develop individualized treatment plans
- interpret laboratory, imaging, and pathology results
- collaborate with other specialists
- educate patients and families
- document care
- participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and outcomes initiatives
- supervise and educate advanced practice providers, residents, or fellows as applicable.
