Maintenance Technician, Affordable Senior Housing

The Maintenance Technician, Affordable Senior Housing role is onsite in Shipman, VA, supporting two affordable senior housing communities in the Charlottesville and Shipman area. Pay is $25 per hour. Centurion Residential supports senior residents through the upkeep of its affordable housing communities. The technician maintains safe, functional, clean communities by completing resident work orders, preventive maintenance, inspections, routine repairs, and unit turnovers. The role also includes regular travel between the assigned communities and scheduled after-hours on-call coverage.

What you'll do

• Complete resident work orders, preventive maintenance, inspections, routine repairs, and unit turnovers
• troubleshoot routine plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, hardware, fixture, and basic HVAC issues within authorized scope
• document work
• prepare vacant units
• report safety and property concerns
• coordinate with vendors as directed
• maintain tools and supplies
• provide respectful service to senior residents
• participate in after-hours on-call coverage.
