Engineering Technician (Prototype Specialist)

Compensation is $0 per year. Engineering Technician (Prototype Specialist) is an onsite role in Etters, PA. The position supports Amphenol Communications Solutions’ connector and cable product development and customer prototype work. The technician helps turn product and process concepts into testable prototypes by fabricating parts and fixtures, modifying designs, coordinating samples, and collecting test data. This work supports development iterations and testing for HSIO connector and OverPass products.

What you'll do

• Read technical drawings and schematics
• fabricate prototype parts and tooling using CNC equipment, 3D printers, and machine-shop tools
• modify designs in CAD
• coordinate mock-ups and test samples
• prepare reports and presentations
• conduct electrical testing including LLCR, record and organize data, and present results
• prepare high-speed cables for testing
• maintain a safe, organized workspace.
