The Systems Layout Designer is an onsite role in Charter Township of Clinton, MI. The contract position pays up to $33.57 per hour based on proven work history. The role creates system and plant layouts for assigned projects and supports their release to manufacturing.
What you'll do
- Create and maintain system layouts containing equipment and related elements, attend open-issues meetings, and notify the team of layout changes.
- Coordinate with simulation on reach studies, place equipment on layouts, order equipment through product lifecycle management, release layouts to manufacturing, and provide installation drawings.
- Visit plants as needed to verify equipment placement and follow customer design, safety, and environmental specifications.
