The Registered Dietitian 1 role is an onsite position based in Delray Beach, FL, with compensation up to $75,000/yr. This role supports the Corrections team at Summit, which provides nutritional services to correctional institutions across the United States. The role exists to identify and assess the nutritional needs of assigned patients/residents, initiate interventions to achieve and/or maintain individual nutritional status, and enhance quality of life consistent with patient/resident goals.

• Providing nutritional expertise to the health care team
• educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants
• following Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards
• interacting with other departments for policy and procedure development
• participating in continuous quality improvement programs.
