Phased Array Ultrasonic Technician (PAUT Level II)

What you'll do

• Set up, calibrate, and perform phased array ultrasonic testing using an Omniscan X3 or X4
• conduct nondestructive testing inspections
• perform and interpret ultrasonic and phased array testing to AWS, ASME, and API standards
• use magnetic particle and penetrant testing methods in lab and field settings
• identify, size, locate, and document flaws
• inspect structural steel and bolting
• prepare client reports
• follow procedures and perform calculations.
