The Order Taker/Cashier, Evening Shift role is onsite in Charlottesville, VA, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., five days per week. Compensation is $15–$17 per hour. The role supports the restaurant’s goal of providing a positive Dairy Queen guest experience. The cashier takes orders at the front counter and drive-thru and processes payments. The role also supports accurate order handoff, guest service, food preparation standards, cleanliness, stocking, and communication with coworkers and management.

What you'll do

• Take customer orders at the front counter and drive-thru
• process payments
• communicate with coworkers to ensure correct orders
• assist with food production and operate the chill area according to standards
• clean and stock work areas
• communicate significant issues to management.
