What you'll do

• Set up and operate cutting, grinding, and heat-treatment machinery
• change tools, cutters, and fixtures
• inspect parts with gauges and calipers against specifications
• adjust machines to maintain quality
• maintain a clean work area and apply lubricants and coolants
• make minor repairs, report malfunctions, and order parts or bench stock as needed.
