Driver — Senior Living Transportation

Job overview

The Driver role is onsite in Rochester, NY, with weekday shifts of Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM; compensation is $23–$25 per hour. St. John’s provides senior services and describes its work as supporting elders and residents in the community. The driver transports residents and other passengers safely and reliably to appointments and events. The role combines vehicle safety and upkeep with passenger assistance, trip documentation, and customer service.

What you'll do

• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and keep vehicles clean
• transport passengers to appointments safely and courteously
• assist passengers in and out of vehicles as needed
• relay information to dispatch
• record trip times and mileage
• attend staff meetings
• follow New York State traffic laws
• provide customer service. Occasional nights and weekends may be required for special events.
