The Staff / Senior Staff / Principal eSSD Validation Engineer role is onsite in Santa Clara, CA. The stated salary range is $120,000–$210,000 per year. The team advances enterprise SSD technologies through PCIe NVMe validation, system-level testing, feature validation, and bug analysis. The engineer designs and executes validation plans for enterprise solid-state drives, identifies and triages failures, and works across engineering and customer-facing teams to improve product reliability and quality. The role also supports customer issue resolution and test coverage analysis.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and execute test plans for PCIe and NVMe enterprise SSDs
• manage testing progress and report findings against design and customer requirements
• triage failures and collaborate with SOC, firmware, and hardware teams to resolve them
• perform test gap analysis
• work with FAE/CAE teams on customer inquiries and debugging
• communicate to support problem-solving and product quality.

Why this role
