Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

Job overview

The Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) role is onsite at clients’ homes in the BrightStar Care of Hunterdon service area, including Bedminster, NJ. Pay is $20–$21 per hour. The team helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. The aide provides one-on-one support with daily living needs according to each client’s plan of care, helping clients maintain comfort and independence while receiving care in their homes.

What you'll do

• Assist clients with personal care, meal preparation and feeding, light housekeeping and laundry, companionship, ambulation and transfers, medication reminders, and activities of daily living
• follow the client’s plan of care. Active New Jersey CHHA certification, current CPR, physical exam, TB test or chest X-ray, and reliable transportation are required.
