What you'll do

• Interpret engineering prints or blueprints
• set dies and machine settings to specifications
• inspect metal fabrication machinery
• install, align, and lock punches, dies, cutting blades, or other fixtures using gauges, templates, and hand tools
• use measuring tools to verify conformance.
