What you'll do

• Follow quality control procedures and initiate remedial action when results are outside acceptable ranges
• notify appropriate parties of critical and STAT results
• process specimens and perform patient testing in the laboratory information system
• maintain reagent and supply inventories
• maintain a safe, clean work area
• participate in proficiency testing
• maintain and calibrate clinical analyzers
• comply with CMS, OSHA, chemical hygiene, infection control, bloodborne pathogen, and HIPAA requirements.
