Project Surveyor

Job overview

The Project Surveyor role is onsite in Rochester, NY, with pay of $45–$55 per hour. LaBella Associates supports land surveying, civil engineering, architectural, and environmental projects. The surveyor manages and performs survey assignments, coordinates with clients and project teams, and oversees survey data analysis and deliverables. The role also supports project financials, business development, staff mentoring, quality control, and safe land surveying practices.

What you'll do

• Communicate with project teams and clients about goals, schedules, budgets, and expectations
• manage project schedules and financials
• build client relationships
• support business development
• mentor and supervise staff
• represent the survey group on multidisciplinary teams
• supervise data reduction, computation, and mapping
• prepare field research documentation
• analyze survey data
• participate in quality assurance and quality control
• monitor projects and follow land surveying safety practices.
