What you'll do

• Create rigorous, standards-based, culturally relevant lesson plans with scaffolds for English learning
• use student-centered and differentiated instruction
• co-plan and co-teach with general education teachers
• analyze formative and summative assessment data
• maintain classroom management and a safe, caring environment
• grade work and provide actionable feedback
• communicate student strengths and needs to families
• participate in professional development and learning communities
• administer Home Language Questionnaires, NYSITELL, and NYSESLAT
• manage regulatory and instructional requirements for ENL services.
