What you'll do

• Perform transmission system maintenance and construction as assigned
• coordinate with load dispatchers and safely take clearances, switching, and hot-line orders
• work safely near high voltage and in adverse weather
• operate and maintain light and heavy equipment
• maintain vehicles, tools, and work areas
• follow safety practices and maintain accurate records
• assist with training personnel in safe high-voltage line maintenance
• coordinate project scheduling and completion. Apprentice duties include participating in a minimum five-year training program and making continuous progress.
