The Test and Evaluation Specialist — Surface Warfare is an onsite, full-time role in Virginia Beach, VA; The specialist provides technical and analytical support to the U.S. Navy's Operational Test and Evaluation Force for testing Navy combat systems. The role plans, executes, analyzes, and reports operational testing to help assess system performance and support acquisition decisions. Coordination with Navy leadership and program stakeholders, along with compliance with DoD and Navy instructions, supports rigorous evaluation.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute operational test and evaluation programs for U.S. Navy and joint systems
• develop evaluation frameworks and test plans
• execute tests, analyze data, and report results
• support cross-functional testing teams
• interface with Navy leadership and stakeholders
• conduct accreditation for modeling and simulation supporting testing
• and ensure compliance with DoD 5000 series and Navy acquisition instructions.

Why this role

Requires current experience with U.S. Navy ships, combat systems, weapon systems, and surface ship operations; a bachelor's degree or equivalent operational/test-and-evaluation experience; and eligibility for Secret clearance. TS/SCI is preferred.
