This role exists to collect and recover payments from patients and insurance companies for delinquent medical accounts. The lead biller/collector supervises other staff, coaches team members, and ensures billing accuracy.
What you'll do
- Collect and recover payments for delinquent medical accounts.
- Initiate outbound calls to satisfy accounts.
- Talk with payers (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid) to resolve problems.
- Work with customers to arrange collection solutions.
- Supervise other Biller/Collectors.
- Track and trend AR.
