What you'll do

• Monitor cold-heading machines and set up progressions, lubrication, and records
• select, install, and adjust dies, cutters, tools, grips, mechanisms, cams, gears, and pulleys
• lay out or learn tooling progressions for cold headers
• grind or modify thread-roll dies as needed
• clean and oil headers
• verify workpiece dimensions against print specifications.
