The Per Diem Hospice Chaplain — Wichita role is onsite in and around Wichita, KS, with visits in facilities and patients’ homes. Compensation is not specified. Working under the Clinical Director as part of an interdisciplinary team, the chaplain provides spiritual and emotional care to hospice patients and families, including bereavement support. The role helps develop individualized spiritual care plans and supports holistic care in keeping with hospice philosophy.

What you'll do

• Provide pastoral and spiritual care to patients and families
• visit and minister with patients
• conduct spiritual assessments and develop care plans
• provide bedside, funeral, and memorial support as requested and needed
• document visits
• participate in interdisciplinary and staff meetings
• support staff
• communicate with area interfaith clergy
• help organize company-sponsored memorial services as appropriate.

Why this role
