Machine Operator - All Shifts Available is an onsite role in Morris, IL. Compensation is $21.62–$21.94 per hour. The role supports production operations at Leggett & Platt. The operator runs the #11 Banbury mixer and supports safe, consistent batch production by following ingredient specifications, monitoring process settings, and maintaining equipment and work areas.

What you'll do

• Move containers of chemicals and/or rubber using powered or unpowered hand trucks
• identify materials
• use the #11 Banbury Mixing Sheet to verify batch ingredients
• operate the mixer in automatic and manual modes
• adjust oil, whiting, and cycle temperatures on the PLC screen
• clean the mixer
• clear batch and oil counters
• maintain a safe work area
• support ISO 9001 and continuous improvement
• identify and record product, process, or quality-system problems.
