Vice President, Enterprise Scenario Design Lead

Vice President, Enterprise Scenario Design Lead is a hybrid role based in New York, NY. Compensation is $155,000–$195,000 annually, with possible eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. The role is part of SMBC Americas Division’s Enterprise Risk Management team. The lead develops and governs enterprise stress-testing scenarios, including CCAR, to support capital adequacy assessment, risk appetite, and strategic decisions. The position coordinates scenario assumptions across risk, finance, and front-office partners and aligns scenario design with regulatory expectations and SMBC Group standards.

What you'll do

• Develop macroeconomic forecasts for enterprise stress scenarios, including CCAR, capital stress testing, risk appetite, and ad hoc testing
• coordinate forecasts and market shocks across risk stripes
• develop scenario narratives
• own scenario design policy and manage the working group
• maintain approved scenario inventory and use cases
• link scenarios to risk taxonomy and emerging risks
• partner with risk technology on scenario capabilities.
