What you'll do

• Provides professional nursing care for residents
• Demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles
• Practices within the full scope of nursing expertise
• Utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards
• Performs testing to evaluate resident status
• Recognizes problems and recommends solutions
• Responds effectively in emergent situations
• Ensures health, comfort, and safety of residents
• Administers medications or treatments as ordered
• Provides technical support to healthcare professionals
• Documents resident interactions and outcomes
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships
• Works effectively with professional and supportive personnel
• Communicates clearly and maintains confidentiality
• Counsels residents and family members on prevention and treatment plans
• Develops self-care programs
• Performs other related duties.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.

Experience

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program. Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred. Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience or have a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN. Specific services/positions may have additional requirements.
