The Avionics Technician role is onsite in Kent, WA. Compensation is $44.58 per hour. The position supports the Engines, In-Space Systems and Test Ops group and contributes to production, evaluation, and development of flight-grade avionics for a private aerospace manufacturer and spaceflight services company. The technician assembles, repairs, tests, and evaluates electrical and mechanical assemblies for spaceflight systems. The work supports safe, reliable human spaceflight through careful workmanship, testing, inspection, and collaboration with engineering and production teams.

What you'll do

• Support engineering, production, and manufacturing through testing, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of electromechanical systems
• build components and assemblies
• assist engineering with assembly of new and updated designs
• provide input on manufacturing improvements
• perform soldering, component-level board work, mechanical assembly, and wiring
• fabricate, terminate, repair, and test wire harnesses
• inspect and certify work to applicable standards.
