What you'll do

• Respond to incoming 988 calls, chats, and texts
• use empathetic listening and established safety assessment protocols
• de-escalate crises and collaborate on safety plans
• provide referrals to mental health services and community resources
• document interactions confidentially
• schedule or make follow-up contact
• coordinate with crisis response professionals
• follow intervention and emergency escalation protocols
• participate in training, coaching, and team meetings.
