What you'll do

• Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipe
• place assembled pipe in hangers or supports
• cut or drill holes for pipe passage
• assist pipe fitters with piping for air, gas, and water systems
• fit valves and couplings using hand tools
• mount brackets and hangers
• excavate and grade ditches
• lay and join water and sewer pipe
• remove damaged pipe
• and wear required PPE.

Why this role
