Job overview

Compensation is $19–$22 per year. The Security Guard role is onsite in Phoenix, AZ, with openings in Phoenix and Tempe; in the feed. Transcend Security is hiring unarmed security professionals to protect client premises, assets, and personnel. The guard maintains a visible presence, monitors access, patrols assigned areas, and reports suspicious activity or safety concerns. The role contributes to a secure environment through observation, customer service, and accurate incident reporting.

What you'll do

• Protect property and staff
• observe for crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• record unusual occurrences and report suspicious incidents
• patrol buildings and perimeters
• monitor access at entrances and vehicle gates
• answer alarms
• watch for safety hazards
• use technology and prepare clear reports
• provide customer service and answer property-related inquiries.

Why this role

Three full-time schedules are listed: Phoenix Monday–Friday 11 a.m.–7 p.m. starting at $19.00; Tempe Friday–Tuesday 10 p.m.–6 a.m. starting at $21.65; and Tempe Thursday/Friday 2 p.m.–10 p.m. plus Saturday/Sunday 6 p.m.–6 a.m. starting at $20.00. Current Arizona Security Guard License and high school diploma or equivalent required.
