The Computer Field Technician — Laptop and Desktop Hardware role is an onsite field position based in Waterloo, IA, with local travel to customer sites. Compensation is per completed call, starting at $35 per call and increasing based on distance traveled. BC Tech Pro partners with technicians nationwide to provide onsite hardware warranty services. The technician performs laptop and desktop hardware repairs and installations at residential and commercial customer sites. The role completes assigned service tickets, coordinates service times, collects and returns parts, and records calls in the technician portal to support warranty service delivery.

What you'll do

• Repair and install laptop and desktop hardware
• complete assigned service calls at residential and commercial customer sites
• log into the technician portal by 9 a.m. on working days to code calls and plan routes
• confirm service times with customers
• pick up parts from the assigned FedEx or UPS store and return replaced parts using provided labels
• complete Dell and Lenovo certifications during onboarding.
